SKYLIMIT GOES TO DAYTONA 20122011-05-31

Ook in 2012 maken we een trip naar Daytona. Niet enkel om het koude winterweer te ontlopen, maar tevens om de knapste autosport te zien.

Also in 2012 we make a trip to Daytona. Not only to run away from the cold winter but also to see the best racing in the world.

Van de ene kant zijn er de NASCAR races die deze trip onvergetelijk maken. De Daytona 500 is één van de meest legendarische races. De dagen ervoor zijn er ook tal van wedstrijden zoals de Budweiser shootout, Gatorade Duel,... Iedere autosport liefhebber moet dit minstens 1x gezien hebben!

There is the Daytona 500, one of the most legendary races in the world but also the days before there are great races like the Budweiser shootout or Gatorade Duel.

Then there is the Rolex 24 hour race at Daytona. The closest 24 race in the world with many cars battling it out out till the finish

Er is ook de Rolex 24 in Daytona, de zwaarst bevochten 24 uren race ter wereld.

Ook wordt er naar Sebring gegaan voor de tests an de 12 uren ALMS of Porsche club races.

We also visit Sebring for the 12 hour ALMS testday or Porsche club races

Daytona ademt werkelijk autosport... Zo zijn er tal van meetings met historische wagens, zelfs op het strand.

Daytona really breaths racing. There are a lot of meetings with historic cars, even on the beach.

Ook de dirt tracks die we bezoeken doen stof opwaaien! We also visit some dirt tracks!

Maar Daytona is meer dan enkel autosport. Ook is er de oceaan, het mooie weer, de natuur, de zonsondergangen en de diverse themaparken zoals Disneyworld, Seaworld en Kennedy Space Center

But Daytona is more than just motorsport. There is also the sun, the ocean, the themeparks like Disneyworld, Sea world and Kennedy Space Center, all within 1 hour driving.

Maar al deze dingen in combinatie met het circuit, de sfeer, de toegankelijkheid van de piloten enz maakt het allemaal echt de moeite.

These things in combination with the atmosphere, the speedway, the possibility to meet the drivers makes it the best trip for a race fan.

We kunnen zelfs regelen dat u zelf eens kan proeven van NASCAR en plaatsneemt achter het stuur van een geweldige V8!We even can arrange you can taste NASCAR and drive one of the great V8 cars!
