SKYLIMIT TRACKDAY @ NüRBURGRING NORDSCHLEIFE NOVEMBER 2, 2012 2012-11-04

Skylimit Trackday at the Nürburgring Nordschleife came just after the first winter days in the Eifel mountains. After they cancelled the VLN race a week before many drivers thought the weather would be too bad, but the competitors who showed up had the time of their life!

Some of those VLN teams used it as a postponed season ending ride. Like the Mercedes team of Sing Motorsport with driver Bertin Sing.

In the morning the track was wet. But it dried up almost completely. After 2PM the rain came back and the day ended at 4PM very wet.

RSR came with some of their finest rental cars like this Nissan GT-R

And also this Porsche 997 was from RSR Nürburg

The Falken team came to test some slick tire compounds, but their runs were shortened by the rain in the afternoon. Ragginger and Ash bahind the wheel of this fast Porsche.

This Austin Healy had a great sound and was very fast.

The using of the rumble strips is important on your way to a good laptime.
