TEST DAY SKYLIMIT YOKOHAMA RACE TEAM : CIRCUIT ZOLDER2013-03-08

Op donderdag 7 maart ontwaakte circuit Zolder uit een lange en barre winter met de eerste donderdag training. Ook het Skylimit Yokohama Race Team was present. Hier een reportage met foto's van Lisa Linke!

Thursday March 7 Circuit Zolder came to life after a hard winter. During the first International Thursday practice also the Skylimit Yokohama Race Team was at the track. Here a report with photos by Lisa Linke!

Blikvangers van de dag waren de meisjes die aan BRCC kampioenschap zullen deelnemen. Naast deze races staat ook de BELCAR 5000 op het programma van deze Porsche.

The most attractive team were these girls who will compete the BRCC in 2013. But they will also do the 24 Hours of Zolder and try to score high in the BELCAR 5000.

Karen Vaes uit Zonhoven maakte tijdens deze testdag enorme stappen vooruit en eindigde haar testdag met een scherpe chrono. Deze Limburgse meid die de kleuren van MYRwatches vertegenwoordigd zal nog van zich laten spreken!

Karen Vaes from Zonhoven made a huge progression during the day and ended with a sharp laptime! This MYRwatches driver will be in for a strong season.

Ook de 17 jarige Duitse Sarah Ganser maakte enorme sprongen vooruit. Deze jonge dame heeft nog geen rijbewijs maar wel reeds een internationale C licentie!

The 17 year old Sarah Ganser also made a huge progression during the day. This German racer doesn't have a drivers license yet, just an international C race license!

Charlotte Maes komt ook in actie met de steun van Studiebureau Eureplan. Ook haar rondetijden zakten enorm en ze is klaar om het seizoen aan te vatten. 

Charlotte Maes drives the Porsche thanks to support of Eureplan. Her laptimes improved a lot during the day and she is ready to start the season.

Na zijn sterk debuut seizoen bij het Skylimit Yokohama Race Team zal Bart Van Haeren dit jaar zijn klasse bevestigen.

After his strong first season in 2012 Bart Van Haeren looks for confirmation this season.

Filip Van Eename nam deel aan deze testdag met het oog op de 24 Hours of Zolder. En we kunne zeggen dat de bereikte rondetijden een succes waren voor de Kömmerling piloot.

Filip Van Eename tested to prepare for the 24 Hours of Zolder. The laptimes he reached proved this Kömmerling driver is ready to race the twice around the clock race at the end of August.

Steve De Braeckelaer reed ook snelle en constante rondjes over het Limburgse asfaltlint. Hij is met MYRwatches ook één van de stuwende krachten achter het Skylimit Yokohama Race Team en wie weet zien we hem wel aan het werk tijdens het seizoen...
